A Tree-mendous Scandal In
Central Park & Other Stories
Published October 2024
'Set in New York in 1899, this short story follows an Inventor named Elias Van Witt who has created a potion for resurrecting the dead. After it’s trial test on a fresh corpse goes horribly wrong, Elias attempts to get rid of the potion by going to Central Park and pouring the potion away near a giant Elm tree. Soon, the tree comes to life and is causing havoc in the park, and Elias must figure out what to do before the city wakes up and sees what he has done.'
This novella consists of three short stories, being a combination of fantasy, magical-realism and absurdist comedy, which were inspired by my experiences in New York City. All three stories are disconnected and can be read individually.
The book was published in October of 2024 and can be purchased on Amazon.

The Grey
‘After discovering a group of hostile aliens near his home, Michael becomes trapped in his house where the aliens attempt to get inside and attack him. With nowhere to go, Michael must defend himself and his home while working out how to escape and find his family, who are in great danger.’
The Grey is a Supernatural Horror novel set in present-day England. The narrative is written around our protagonist, Michael, and the story takes place in and around his home. Some chapters are devoted to flashbacks and secondary characters, giving a wider context to the aliens (referred to as The Creatures) and explores the deeper mystery of what the creatures are and what they are doing here.
Began in 2023, the manuscript is completed and stands at just over 53,000 words split over 12 chapters. This novel is the first of a trilogy, with parts 2 & 3 in planning. This first novel is currently unpublished and seeking representation.
