August has generally been a slow month for writing, but not in a bad way. We had various guests visiting, my wife and I took a short vacation and we have been preparing our daughter for her new school. So I've been writing less, but have not been unproductive...
I've not written any flash-fiction stories for a couple of months, but I've used this time to churn some new ideas, so I will type those up for the blog soon. I've been completing a screenplay, written a new longer short story, and I have gone back and been editing some older stories. I still have the intention of self-publishing my first book of short stories by Christmas. Also, I have been sending out queries to some literary agencies to see if they want to take on The Grey and I have begun the first loose drafts for a novella - very early days and i'll expand on that later down the road....
One lovely thing that happened recently was that Will Soto, from the Red Treehouse Podcast reached out and asked to read my most recent flash-fiction story The Chop-Chop Train on his podcast and can be listened to alongside another story from Rose Black:
RTH: E99: Listener Stories (Volume 5)

Many thanks to Will and the Red Treehouse Podcast for the second invite onto your podcast, much appreciated! :))
